SICILY. Kamarina. Circa 410-405 BC. Litra (Silver, 13 mm, 0.93 g, 1 h). ΚΑΜΑΡΙΝΑ Head of the nymph Kamarina to left, wearing sphendone decorated with star, ampyx, spiral earring and necklace. Rev. Swan swimming left with raised wings and curved neck; below, waves and a fish swimming left. Jameson 529 (same obverse die). SNG ANS 1210 (same obverse die). Westermark & Jenkins 171. Very rare and in exceptional condition, a superb example of the finest style. Very light porosity, otherwise, extremely fine.
